Quick answers about how we partner with contractors and deliver mechanical and electrical work for demanding industrial facilities.
Yes. H&L carries general liability and workers' compensation coverage, and we provide certificates of insurance naming the general contractor and owner as required. Licensing and insurance documentation is issued at contract award or on request during bidding.
We self-perform our mechanical and electrical scope with our own crews and foremen. That keeps quality, schedule and safety accountability in one place rather than spread across second-tier subcontractors.
We supply our safety program, training records, insurance certificates and experience modification rate as part of any prequalification package. Our field crews work to site-specific safety requirements and we participate in the contractor prequalification platforms our clients use — contact us for our current registration status.
Yes. A large share of our work is phased around active operations — turnarounds, planned shutdowns and night shifts — so the facility keeps running. We plan the sequence with the general contractor in advance and work to documented methods of procedure.
Processed food facilities, hotels, refineries, data centers and airports, plus other commercial and industrial environments. Our crews are experienced with washdown-rated food plant installations, mission-critical power and heavy industrial distribution.
Both. We deliver new installations as well as full system reconstructions — replacing aging motor control centers, distribution gear and feeders, and bringing existing systems up to current standards.
